Drop down list for a table?

I have a table that I am manipulating as a table, not as a form. Is it
possible to have a drop down list in a table?

The person answering the question seems to imply that a form should be
used if a drop down list is needed. Am I correct in thinking that a
form should be used?

Even though you could use lookup fields in a table, it's highly recommended
not to use them, as you can read here:

http://www.mvps.org/access/lookupfields.htm

So use a form to avoid any problems...

Yes, you can create a dropdown. When you add a field in the table,
you'll see a General tab and a Lookup tab, Select lookup.

Others may supply you with the pros/cons of doing so.

Pro: nothing
Con: too many to list, including: failed searches, failed
filters, all sort of problems with queries, forms and reports.

Besides, manipulating a table, without using a form can be
difficult as you cannot control many aspects of accidental
change, automation, etc. --

I haven't read your specific google link, but ....
yes, a form should be used for data entry, data editing, etc.
A table should be used for data storage.

You haven't said what you are 'manipulating' so there is nothing else
I can suggest, other than if you want the 'View' of a table, setting a
form to Datasheet View, if that will help.
